Regular attendance is a key factor in learning and across all of the Aireborough Learning Partnership Trust schools, we will be recognising everyone who achieves a 100% attendance for the month of March.
All pupils who achieve 100% attendance will receive a personalised certificate to mark the feat and be entered in to a prize draw to win one of the many donations from local businesses.
The Aireborough Learning partnership is committed to supporting our schools and their pupils to be the best they can.
Our schools have settled into 2018 and our children have been busy representing their schools at various sporting events.
A group of Key Stage 2 pupils from Guiseley Primary School have been to the John Charles Centre for Sport where they took part in an inclusive athletics event. They were working with other schools in running, jumping and throwing events and represented their school very well.
Yeadon Westfield Juniors and Tranmere Park Schools have both been involved in a Year4/5 basketball tournament for the North-West Leeds area firstly at Prince Henry’s Grammar School then progressing into the finals which was held at Beckett’s University where they were drawn in the same pool. Westfield came 7th and Tranmere took 2nd place after a very tense final which went down to a sudden death penalty shoot out!
Well done to all who have participated for our schools.
