Benton Park School has been transported to East High School as students have been treading the boards in their very own production of High School Musical. Students wowed packed audiences with some fabulous acting and singing over 3 consecutive nights. They had previously invited some of the Trust primary school pupils to watch the show who were very impressed. It really was a showcase of all the wonderful talent within school and testament to the focus on Performing Arts and Music within school.
Rawdon St Peter’s have hosted Take-Over Day when pupils took on the roles of staff at the school. During the day the students taught lessons, organised meetings and prepared meals. This event is created to help students experience what a real job entails and help them in the future, finding a career of their own. Take–Over Day was part of Careers Week which included a careers fair attended by a fire fighter, pilot, makeup artist and many more who explained what they do and how they got to be where they are now. The children were very excited to introduce themselves and were eager to ask questions of their visitors.
SMJ Falconry came to see the children at Yeadon Westfield Infant School and brought some feathered friends for the children to meet.
